“I’ve sat across from women who had been told ‘everything looks fine’ while their bodies were telling a completely different story. That’s why I built NubianDoc — because evidence-based care should reach every woman, not just some.

— Meet the Founder

Dr. Fey Ahmad, MD, DABFM

Dr. Fey Ahmad is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with 14+ years of clinical experience across primary care, telemedicine, and public health — from hospital clinics in the Bronx to health centers in Dallas, TX.

She earned her MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center, one of New York’s largest urban academic medical centers.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (DABFM), most recently recertified in 2024, and has been a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.

But NubianDoc wasn’t born in a classroom. It was built in exam rooms — after years of watching women of color be dismissed, under-informed, or handed a diagnosis without a real conversation.

Dr. Ahmad founded NubianDoc to give women what too many appointments don’t; time, clarity, and care that actually sees them.

Culturally Informed, Evidence Based Care for Women of Color

I’ve watched women in my own family navigate conditions like fibroids quietly, without ever being told all of their options. Like so many women, they carried the burden in silence, not because they didn’t want answers, but because the system wasn’t offering them.

As a board-certified Family Medicine physician, I saw that same pattern repeat itself in clinical practice. Too many women were navigating a healthcare system that overlooked their experiences, dismissed their concerns, and failed to provide clear, relevant information in a language that felt like it was made for them.

NubianDoc was created to change that.

Built on the belief that every woman deserves access to accurate, culturally competent health education, NubianDoc delivers evidence-based information tailored to the real-life needs of women of color. From fibroids and PCOS to hypertension, mental health, and preventive care — the content here answers the questions women are asking, but not getting answered in traditional healthcare settings.

NubianDoc is what I wish existed when my patients needed it most.

Because when women are informed, they don’t just navigate the system — they advocate for themselves, make confident health decisions, and take control of their well-being.
